Cancer Awareness Week

Everyone has lost someone close in the family or a cousin due to different kind of organs diseases where cancer can appear and spread throughout the whole body.

Some of the tumors can go not noticed for years as lack of any visible symptoms and mistaking them with some other diseases.

Most avoid yearly checkups therefore a whole week in February especially February 4th has a goal through events and awareness commercials through different types of media to spread awareness of the fact that we only have one body to take care of.

Any kind of pain needs a visit to the doctors as that is the right way to treat yourself and your body by keeping yourself healthy and keeping your entire family healthy as of lack of stress that does trigger many different conditions.

It says putting yourselves first and putting HEALTH in front of any chore or event as much as sometimes the symptoms can be frightening causing repression as nothing is going on while the disease progresses further spreading from one organ to another.

• American Cancer Society has put a list of possible cancer symptoms:

- pain for no known reason appearing,

- yellow skin colour,

- cough that does not go away,

- unusual bleeding or bruising,

- constipation or opposite,

- blood in urine,

- fever or night sweating,

- vision or hearing problems,

- headaches,

- mouth sores.

• The most important thing when someone in the family gets diagnosed with cancer is family support

It does not just mean being supportive to whoever got diagnosed with such a disease as cancer is but being supportive among the family as of the stressful situation this is.

Getting cancer diagnosis means start counting days, one by one, getting joy in each new day you find yourself living.

Many people trying to be supportive avoid talking about the issue with the diseased as which may cause difficulty during any conversation unless the diseased has such desire.
