December Fast Menu

Fasting begins on November 28th and lasts until January 6th during which is forbidden to eat any animal origin food while fish is not included on this list and most importantly restrain from any bad behavior or habits.

On the last week prior communion recipe menu changes removing even vegetable oil.

Fast lasts for 6 weeks until Christmas and it requires determination as in changing every day menu without any vegetable oil in the last week.

While besides also still using fish this menu sounds as a simple vegetarian menu while the last week sounds as a simple vegan menu there are so many recipes available to use either during Christmas fasting or Easter fasting in April.

Orthodox church approves communion to everyone who have fasted for at least one week after the Sunday mass during these periods during which except fasting people are to restrain themselves from breaking any of the ten commandments.

Here is a menu anyone can use as people say it requires more money for groceries during this period.

I'll put together a proper Vegan week & Vegetarian Menu month with recipes until the next year's Easter fasting month.
